Morgan Gibbs-White

Unless we lose Gundo, kovacic and Bernardo there just isn’t space. Just don’t see it tbh.

Next season I reckon we get him

But if Forest are willing to sell for the right price, then other clubs may nip in first. we know clubs today aren't afraid to spend big on a player. If we are interested, you can bet other clubs won't be far behind. If forest get an offer they feel they can't refuse, he'll go.

If we don't make a serious offer this summer, then I'll put it down to us not being that desperate for him anyway and us thinking we can get equal or better for the same money when the time is right.

What I will say though is if Gundo is a regular starter next season, we aren't recruiting well enough. Love the guy but he shouldn't be starting regularly now.

Seems like Forest don’t need to sell for PSR having made a profit last financial year, and no big signings this financial year. I’m sure Marinakis would consider selling for £80m—£90m, but unlikely the club is actively looking to sell.

Might just be a case of he’s worth more to us than he is to you.

How do Forest stand for club trained players? I can only see Yates, which means, if they had a squad of 25 last year, that they need to offload or not register some.

While I think he could have done a job here, gonna agree that its difficult to see the necessity with Kova staying, with O Reilly and Lewis able to fill in as an 8.

In order of preference, I imagine this:

#6: Rodri, Kova
#8: Reijnders, Nico G, Lewis, O Reilly

And with Cherki, Foden and Bobb essentially options as the #10, I dont see MGW as too important.

I have said this before, but this actually shows why a future #6/8 (Wharton) is more important than a 8/10 (MGW).

Reijnders, Cherki and Ait Nouri is a pretty stellar window for me.

Livramento, particularly the RB is 4th position, and City should go all out there and unsettle Newcastle to make this a perfect window, as well as keeping both keepers.

Based on his end to the season I couldn’t see a lot of difference to the pre Barcelona Gundo. Then again he isn’t a shiny new toy

But can he play well for the majority of a season in this league?

Based on last season, then it's a no.

Depends which way you look at it, doesn't it?

The fact is he's getting on, had a pretty poor season overall. He's clearly on the slide and that's only going to continue at his age if we are being realistic about things.

Legend but if he's starting the majority of games next season, then I'll say it again, something is going wrong with our recruitment

Next season his value wont be what it is now anyway, forest had an anomaly of a season with very few injuries right up until the last few games and alot going there way, i dont think it will be repeated next season
Feel like it’s the Paqueta situation. We’re only desperate for him rn. Idk if we will ever come back for him. I still like him and we need the HG numbers

He started off badly but ended superbly. I like to think the most recent is the more relevant

It was a free transfer.

If you want to look at recruitment, consider the full picture. This is the annual league table. City are top, above even Liverpool and Arsenal who played more games.

Anyone considering even letting Gundogan clean the bogs next season wants sectioning.
