Although I get that narrative because it makes sense given we’ve made 2 midfield signings. But it was always reported (when in for Wirtz) MGW wasn’t seen as a 10 here.

We need to see where Cherki plays at the CWC as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we still want him if we can move Gundo plus one of Bernie/Kov. We could move 1/2/3 of that mix.

It only solves the problem if it means we get shut of an extra midfielder that is taking up a foreign slot.

It really couldn't, though he could be on the bench with Rodri ,Reijnders, Foden or Cherki, with Gonzalez, Bernardo and O'Reilly still with us I don't really see the point of this.Before Reijnders signed I did.
