Morgan Gibbs-White

I personally think he’d be a good signing.
Gives us energy and drive, has a good range of passing, has a nasty streak if needed and lowers the age of our midfield.

It’s a yes from me, offer them Jack & Mc.

Most of us would agree that that would be a great solution all round

I don’t really see how he starts or where he fits in. If we wanted a midfielder, who’s creative and drives forward Morgan rogers is the one for me.

If Forest are keen on McAtee and would rather lose him to us than Spurs, would it be more appealing if we're talking about McAtee plus £30m or so?
Due to PSR reasons I think we will pay 60 but get 30 from forest. The 30 alone would allow us to spend 150 since McAtee is pure profit.

For this to work, there's got to be about 5-6 moving parts plus a Spurs move not being sorted and finalised.

Squad:
Non HG: Ederson, Ortega, Nunes, Akanji, Reis, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol, Ait Nouri, Rodri, Nico G, Reijnders, Kovacic, Gundo, Cherki, Bernardo, Doku, Marmoush, Savinho, Haaland, Echevarri - totallying 21

HG: Bentelli, Lewis, O Reilly, Foden, Stones, Ake, Bobb

We need to loose a MINIMUM of 4 above to be at a level to not leave players out - Ederson, Echevarri, Reis and Gundo probably.

Say that happens, that leaves Rodri, Nico G, Reijnders, Kovavic, Cherki, Bernardo and Foden for the midfield. 7 into 3 positions is already a bit stacked with 4 wide players in the forward line.

At a minimum, Gundo and Kovacic gotta go and it probably means we don't sign a RB as Pepe will want to give Nico and Rico minutes this season too in midfield if needed.

Nunes won’t be on his way out. He’s not classed a midfielder under Pep and he’s a fantastic option at full back.

I doubt Kovacic will be going either having just had surgery. Gundo would ed to be shoved out the door too which I doubt.

McAtee is likely the only one who will go. The fact it’s Forest might help with MGW, though.
You might be right on most of that but let's be clear....Nunes is NOT a fantastic option at right back at all. He is average at best and we need way better in order to be competitive

It's worth mentioning that some of those non-HG would count as under 21 in the PL, so would only be non-HG in the CL. Khusanov, Reis, Echeverri, and I believe Savinho too (anyone born on or after after Jan 1 2004), so there is scope to keep them but leave them out of the CL squad.

Fantastic for any decent left winger facing him yeah.
