Have moved this from the transfer forum, as he doesn't seem to be going anywhere for at least a couple of years.
You do not appear to understand the term objective. Points difference is 'objective'
Performance is 'subjective'
The difference in either last season is certainly not the 'only metric' performance over the latter half of the season is another metric. Performance over three seasons is a further metric.
You are welcome to suffer in your delusion that we are closer to Forrest than Arsenal if you want but I rather think most rational commentators will consider us likely to be closer to Arsenal than to Forrest next season on virtually any objective metric you choose.
With Baldy, anything is possible! :-)didnt know Eze could playright back ;)
You are welcome to believe whatever you wish. A simple look at the betting odds would suggest yours' is a minority opinion and that we are closer to Arsenal than to anyone else.First of all it is Forest not Forrest. Second if you want to remain in a fantasy that we magically have become a team like our usual self then you are more than welcome to.
Did we perform better in second half of the season? Have people wiped their memory of our games against Arsenal, Liverpool, Madrid, PSG, Brighton, Palace at the FA Cup? We couldn’t even beat a Saudi team!
This is simple arrogance to assume that a team that scraped into a CL spot is competing with a team that was putting in a competitive performance against the CL winners.
Not accepting this reality is what keeps us stuck clinging to mediocre players hoping they will elevate to a level they have never shown to be capable of.
100%, you're not responding to a City fan there bud.You are welcome to believe whatever you wish. A simple look at the betting odds would suggest yours' is a minority opinion and that we are closer to Arsenal than to anyone else.
I have no idea what mediocre players we are clinging to who have shown themselves incapable. Every single member of the squad who has been over one season has played a part in winning a title and most of them several..
There are probably a few whose best days are behind them but we are hardly clinging to them they have contracts.
Yes, we got more points than any other team in the league.Did we perform better in second half of the season?
I see that as a good thing. We need teams like forest to take points of our rivalsBecause with Gibbs White staying then Mcatee improves them further
We’ll win the league. (By “we” I mean City in case you’re unsure as I’m not sure who you’re a fan of)First of all it is Forest not Forrest. Second if you want to remain in a fantasy that we magically have become a team like our usual self then you are more than welcome to.

Don't bother mate, he's a fuckin clownYou are welcome to believe whatever you wish. A simple look at the betting odds would suggest yours' is a minority opinion and that we are closer to Arsenal than to anyone else.

I know I have been. disparaging about the lad, mainly due to the fact I don't see who he replaces and what the point would be in the price for a squad member, but this really does feel like he is being held hostage and made to. make a video
Dodgy Europeans, like dodgy Americans, are OK according to our pathetic media freak show. The romance around Forest and what they (Havent) achieved has been sickly considering they are run by one of the dodgiest guys in football.
That abysmal spell in Nov/Dec hides reasonable form either side of it. Now I don't subscribe to the Rodri injury as the sole cause and I do think we suffer from a number of structural weaknesses. That said I will be very surprised if we fail to mount a meaningful challenge this season. We will probably fall a little short but I would think Arsenal rather than Forest will be our baseline. You do not appear to understand the term objective. Points difference is 'objective'

If your first point is how to spell Forest correctly, the rest mustn't be of too much importance.First of all it is Forest not Forrest. Second if you want to remain in a fantasy that we magically have become a team like our usual self then you are more than welcome to.
