Was about to write the same here. No for me, not what we need. Very good player, though.

However like most teams including PSG there are always players just below that level, albeit not many in their case, but Madrid and Barca definitely. We have a few, Foden, Doku, Semenyo, Nunes, Guehi. So we are in a pretty good place. Does Anderson get in our side? Definitely. It is reasonable to expect improvement in quite a lot of our players as they are very young. So not sure we need too many new faces.

Foden would absolutely take the piss in the French league, fresh body every season as well heavily rotated to play with full match fitness for big CL games.

The amount of youngsters we are developing is incredible. The Premier league alone must have the best part of 2 teams worth of graduates from our academy.
One of the Fletcher lads has just been called up to the Scotland World Cup squad.
Villa, United, liverpool, chelsea all have ex academy lads.
Not sure how many of Sancho, Frimpong, Delap, Lavia, Gittens, Palmer, Tosin or the Fletcher lads would be at our level.
Even arsenal have/had 2 of our players who we bought at a young age (Jesus/ Zinchenko)
Its just impossible to accommodate all the youngsters.

I think Khus is on the verge. Nico too. Does Haaland fit the system or do they adapt to him? Either way, that’s probably it.
 
I don’t see this being true and think he will go Arsenal or the scousers. But some of the comments about his ability on here are a bit of a madness imo. Is he as good as PSGs front 3…no, but apart from Haaland neither are our attackers now. He’s a really good premier league player who could potentially explode.

But- his best form for Villa this season he was playing from the left in the first half of the season. I could see why we would hypothetically be interested. You could play him left or as a 10. Our biggest problem this season has been that whilst the first 11 is not as good as pep’s previous great teams, the drop off in quality of players on the bench is absolutely huge.

Rogers in the 10 in champions league games where you have to more than ever have quick players who can transition fast would be a great option imo. And Doku picks up 2-3 injuries per season when he could cover the left side. We hope we can get Phil back to the player he was before but we don’t know that he will definitely get there, if he does he can play left, right or 10. Cherki can play right or 10, Semenyo can play left, right or if needed up top. You can’t have too many quality options - our treble side had Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez on the bench! Rogers is at least as good as all of the attacking options we have from wide and middle now and his ceiling is really high imo- higher than both Doku and Semenyo.

Don’t see him as a proper winger and more so someone that wants to come inside and access central zones and I’d much rather Cherki and Foden play in the middle
 
He'd thrive with better players around him. Bit of a maverick, but I think he'd be brilliant for us.

One of the few non-City Prem players I love watching.
 
Very good player. But until we know how Maresca wants to play, its hard to judge if be is a fit. If Maresca continues his Chelsea system, then its a guaranteed, No.

He'd just be another Marmoush that doesn't fully fit in a much more rigid positional system that needs an actual wide winger.
