Musiala imo is an example of a player who would cost >100m and is a good but not an elite player. Dont think he takes us to another level and don’t think he’s better than a in form Phil Foden. Musialas hype is greater than his actual output and impact on games. I don’t believe he’s much better than Rogers if at all and Rogers is prem proven. Some of the comments on Rogers are honestly miles off the mark and we will in reality probably end up with a winger nowhere near as good (I know he isn’t a typical touchline winger but he can play wide left). Rogers will go to Arsenal and massively improve their attack.

Doue we have no chance of getting him out of PSG.

Valverde is a very good player who works very hard. Wouldn’t get in our treble winning / 4 in a row side but obviously times have moved on, not convinced for what we need that he’d be a better option than Anderson.

I think Musiala has dropped off a bit since his Achilles is what’s being said in Germany, sad.

Seems Barcola could be leaving so I highly doubt they would let doue go as well

Would love to see Valverde, really hard worker on the pitch and has always shown up against us. Most importantly, HE CAN PLAY RIGHT BACK.

We never sign the big names bar Håland. We sign players with promise, potential and the right character Rodri was a good promising midfielder at Atleti, KdB, Aguero, Fernadinho and Kompany etc were all promising players or good players at lesser teams. We don’t sign players from Real, Barca, Bayern. We have an exception in Donna but that is more due an unforeseen opportunity arose. Last players we signed from the other clubs were Robinho, Toure(again opprtunity) and Tarnat.

We have missed out on opportunities like Doue, Neves etc but so does every other club.

To be fair no one buys players from Real or Barca unless they are upp for sale. Real can buy from Bayern but it seems like they are the only ones. But I would like us to try and why not now? Things are not that good in Real atm, bad season, Jose Mourinho seems to be on his way or if he is not a done deal for them, and that can’t really make a good feeling on some of the players.

You have right in what you say here I know we can’t buy from those teams unless players are unsettled or want away and maybe the time is now. But i really want us to sign a top promising player that the likes of these team want.

But signings from Germany besides Bayern seem to do have done us good thrue the years.
Despite what says about Musiala I still think he is a gem and with 7 months on the sideline he will be back and show he is a far better player then Rogers, if he does a good WC then we are really fucked only team who can buy him away from Bayern is Real.

Yeah Beef Cherki was a bargain. Everton paid more for Tyler Dibbling haha.

Bayern can lose players to the other two possibly us. It would be rare. Yeah Germany has been an excellent league to get players for us. Musiala is class and with his English roots there is always a possibility.
