They can't play him and Carrick (and them 2 + Bastian would be very immobile, plus they lose their main longball threat with Fellaini) so whilst he's a good signing he doesn't really improve their best 11. Improves their ability to do without Carrick tho

Very good player and will improve them but I would be more worried about if they had signed Bastian at age 28, the work he has done has started to detract from his performances hence why Bayern were prepared to let him go. Also Van Gaal is a ticking time bomb and I predict a fun filled future for us on the blue side- it usually takes him 2 full seasons to piss everyone off so hang fire and enjoy the ride.

United will have a pretty solid midfield next season. Ironic how our weakest link is now central midfield when it's been theirs for the last 6 years. Pogba will change all that hopefully

Looks like he has started with RVP who has supposedly decided to leave because of the way he was treated. falcao agent didn't have much good to say about the way his client was treated by him, and looks like De Maria could have lost patience with him as well

He's a tidy player and improves them but their likely starting midfield isn't something us chelsea or even arsenal will fear. It's competent and little more. Schneiderlin would of been a good squad player for us, he'll be an average key player for United. I obviously don't wish them to improve in any way shape or form but we have to accept they will and it could of been a lot worse than them lining up with a schweinsteiger that has imo "done a Torres" after his injuries and Schneiderlin.

Looks like it was a done deal at £25mil...After getting Sterling I think CM is now the most important area to upgrade.....Hope we hear some positive news on Pogba soon...
