We can't bid for Morgan at this point -- even full price, whatever Southampton wants -- without contacting the player and getting confirmation he'd prefer the move to the alternatives. With the recent Delphgate incident there's no way the management is going to charge into a room with guns drawn without finding out what's inside first.

That said, somebody tap the guy up. Would love to have him in blue.
 
Why not ? We've had Madrid do it with Isco and Chelsea with hazard !

Get in there and get tapping city !!!!
 
Delph would have been a squad signing and at £8m it was no-brainer for us especially as he was English, but Schneiderlin would be too expensive for a squad player. He's good but not that good. I don't see him in Arsenal, City or Chelsea's team. Or even Utd's midfield although I know they have been linked all Summer. Is he better than Herrera, or Blind?
 
That is a really good point. He probably is better than Delph but is he any better than what Utd have currently in Midfield ?

I think so.

For my part I think he would be brilliant business for both Man U. & Arsenal. A drastic improvement on what they currently have. Chelsea is a little tighter, but the idea of getting a ball through Schneiderlin & Matic in a 4-2-3-1 doesn't sound like a lot of fun all the same. He's a fantastic player, and I think he has a legitimate job to do on most clubs.
