very strange Rodri didn't play one second in midfield.
He is not s defender but one of maybe the best defensive midfielders in the world.

Harsh, top class player, maybe not someone I want covering my back when the bullets are really flying but still a top player.He's a very lucky defender. Other than his ability to kick a ball a long way across the pitch to switch play, he's nothing special.
The injury he had a couple of seasons ago was entirely down to his poor positioning and tackling with the wrong foot. He's clumsy and reactive. Not a top player imo.

I'll be very surprised if he's still at City next season. Barring unexpected long term injuries or shock transfers of other defenders, he's always going to be our 5th choice CB.
I agree there, I think he will go back to Spain but not because of form/team place, I just think he's ready to go back there and become the main man at a Spanish club, also a lot less demanding.I'll be very surprised if he's still at City next season.
