Asked my boss for the time off and she just put the mockers on it...... there is a state inspection of the house I manage during that time so no can do...... to be honest, not too disappointed as it would have ripped my bank balance apart.... but had she said yes I would have gone!

Gotcha, not the worst thing then really as you can always reason "well boss said no so fair do's" and not concern your self with what if's.

Empress Ballroom, Blackpool would be good.

Is he doing any overseas gigs MES? Having to dig out a passport usually deters the rentanobs.

He did the States last year in the summer (along with the usual cancellations) and ended the year with a European tour (along with the usual cancellations).
He is mopping up 2 dates in Holland that were pulled in December before the UK tour. Beyond that who knows!

The two rearranged gigs in Holland could be ok, both venues around 2000 capacity. Have they come up with dates for them yet? Tilburg is only an hour or so from Amsterdam and I'm always happy to spend a day or two in Amsterdam.

Looking forward to this, already had plans for when he played his only UK gig last year.

If anyone wants to point me in the direction of a better album in 2014 than "World Peace..." I'd appreciate it.
