So you did have option and chose not to take it, that's cool.
I had the option of not sitting in my own seat, a seat which I pay over the odds for because I get to stand with my family in an area of the stadium I enjoy. Other people did have the option of their own seat. There is no good reason why City couldn't have added an auto-discount of £10 in the checkout basket for buying the two tickets at the same time. They have just chosen not to. That's what's annoyed me. City have clearly decided some areas are going to be easier to sell so we'll bundle for the areas which will be harder to sell, and the people who sit in other areas, can't have that benefit. I don't see why it's hard to understand why I'm annoyed about it, nor why I'd be annoyed that there's no financial benefit to me for wanting to commit to two tickets rather than become unattached to a part of the stadium I want to be in for very good reasons - reasons which the club benefits financially from when I buy my season ticket and from my brother being on the European cup scheme. I am being treated worse that others in a comparable situation so I won't have it.

I often get moved from my £650 seat also, it is an inconvenience.

It's not "your" seat outside of premier league season home games.

The club, and football in general takes the loyalty of supporters for granted. I just din't think you can charge the sort of prices we do for a game like this and expect people to rush to the ticket office and pay up.
''For a game like this''!!!!!!!!!!.....yes, one of the most important games we have ever played in European football.

If you say so.
I am amazed that some City fans don't seem to be at all excited about this game.

This, hopefully, will be an amazing night for City to finally qualify for the knockout stage......I am really looking forward to it.

I buy a season ticket in that area of the stadium because I want to be in a part of the stadium I enjoy with my family. My brother is on the European cup scheme. That means he has to stay where he is, so it would be nice if I could buy the seat next to him, or my own one seat away. The club benefits financially from me wanting to stand in that area with my family, with both me paying £650 for my season ticket when I could be paying £300 for a value season ticket, and from my brother being on the European cup scheme, but yet won't add the simple option of an auto-discount at the checkout for buying two tickets at once? If the club want to do it, their prerogative, as it is my prerogative to leave an empty seat in a stadium which is a long way from sold out.

It's not that I'm not looking forward to it, but it can be a ballache to get to on a Tuesday night, you can't have a beer in the stadium, its live on TV, we're well into winter conditions, its coming up to Christmas and we've got plenty of games on at the moment.

I'm paying £33 for my seat which I'm a bit pissed off about, but even at £28 its just not worth it for a lot of people.

I have a ticket, not that its any of your business. If I didnt I doubt I would get out my armchair at the prices being charged.

I'm gutted not to actually be at the game but it was important for me to be at work today and as I am still there and it's about 200 miles from the Etihad...
