Most deluded supporters

Speaking for myself I would never categorise anybody based on the football team they support. That would be crass and ignorant of me. But the scousers I have dealt with in the past have all had some kind of issue with society, nothing to do with football. It's that collective chip on their shoulders that categorises them, not sporting preferences.

I agree with that and booing the national anthem is a disgrace - I’ve no time for them

I'm shocked this is even a question, it has to be Everton by a country mile. Every club has some deluded supporters, some more than others, but Everton, its a stunning when you run into one that isn't. Spoke to one before the start of the season who said you could put money on them finishing in the top six! making statements such as "Liverpool are in free-fall... "there is no way Chelsea will finish in the top half" "Spurs are a one man team"

That’s where I part company with you. Scousers? An o.k. lot, in the main. Good gallows humour, quite a lively town (I know you’re not allowed to say any of this on BM, but I’m calling it as I see it). And I quite liked The Liver Birds (although one of the actresses was, I think, from Manchester!).
No, my problem is specifically with that lot who support the red side of the city.
Fair enough about scousers in general but you can’t possibly mean dipper fans. The worst of the worst. They’ve been a stain on English football for decades.

As a fan base they are the abscess on the arse of England , embarrassing vile creatures ….

The Scousers.

Remember.

Self proclaimed European Royalty (only 7 European cups/CL cups behind Real Madrid)
The greatest PL team ever.(for 1 COVID season)
The quadruple was on in December.

Nowhere near. I can think of three teams that play in red (two in the north West and one in north London), another one that plays in claret and blue (no, not Burnley) and another one in north London that play in white. All of them miles ahead of Everton.

Don't think we can really count United as City supporters! The funny thing is personally I have never had issues with Liverpool supporters either at the games there or working with them.
As for the north London teams.... Funny you should say that as a kid the first ever game I went to was not a City game... but a Spurs game, interestingly at home in the league to Mansfield! Anyway my friends dad said "You will watch Spurs win once and you will support them all your life" ..........I went as a City supporter and I left as one!
In terms of Villa, are people suggesting a trip to St Andrews is more palatable and with a better adjusted fanbase?
