Most entertaining City match ever?

Spurs 3-4 City in the FA Cup. No other information needed. One of the best games I've ever seen.
That as to be my most entertaining match for me as well.Never thought City would come back from 3 down and having Barton sent off and Anelka was injured. To then win the match 4-3 brilliant.Although saying that it should never have gone to a replay Macken missed an easy chance in 1st game

We beat Burnley 5 - 1 at Maine Road in December 2001.

I was given a ticket in the main stand.

I think Burnley were top of the league at the time but the gulf in class was massive. Carlo Nash saved a penalty, Paolo Wanchope scored a first half hatrick and the imperious Eyal Berkovic bagged one from the edged of the box after a flowing one touch move. Huckerbey came off the bench in the second half and bagged the fifth after a pinpoint Berkovic pass.

Some of the best football I have ever seen followed by a good few pints in St Crispins.

Magic.

Not read the thread but this is what came to mind instantly. Playing with 2 wingers under Horton, some of the best football i've seen at City, pre-takeover of course. (Quite easy to pick a post-takeover game).

The highlights don't do it justice really as spurs had some top players and played some brilliant football as well. John Motson said after he thought it was a better game than the liverpool v newcastle 4-3.

City 3 - Liverpool 1 1977-78

1-0 down at HT battled back to win. Fantastic game - collosal defensive performances by both Liverpool & City players. Also unusually against Liverpool at home - we won!

One game I loved was against Newcastle at Maine Road in 2002. Our first home game after promotion under Keegan. Fantastic non stop attacking performance against Bobby Robsons team who were tipped to challenge for the title

We won 1-0, Huckerby scored, but probably the best 1-0 you will ever see

The Geordies were brilliant, could have scored 3 or 4 themselves, but we were even better. Standing ovation for both teams at the final whistle

I wasn't there for that one, but I remember being in Stockport at the time and hearing that it was 1-0, then finding out later on what a brilliant game it was.

I've posted it before and I'll post it again, 5-2 v Spurs, was the best game ever for pure footballing brilliance and wing play (beagrie and young buzzer were brilliant), as was Walsh (he was a very good player). Spurs were very entertaining too, dumitrescu, klinsmann, sheringham causing havoc. If this reads gobbledegook, It's because I'm drunk.

Some brilliant suggestions. Have to agree the 1-5 spurs, the sick swan and the 3-4 spurs cup game take some beating don't they ? Honorable mentions also to the Ipswich fa cup away with the bernabia back heel, the 1-0 v the rags when capt marvel scored, the Ipswich fa cup semi at villa park, the 2-1 away win at the swamp when benjani scored, the 3-0 away win at sunderland where the goat scored an incredible goal, and the 5-1 thrashing of the scum at Maine road. However for pure tension including that awful sick feeling in the pit of your stomach followed by pure mayhem it has to be the qpr game that comes out on top.
