Most famous celebrity ever met??

I've never met an A-lister ..... although i have met Bucks Fizz (in their heyday) , Leo Sayer , Dido , Ricky (off Eastenders) , John Murray (boxer) , and Sally Whittaker (Coro Street).

Me old man met Muhammed Ali and shook his hand before a frank Bruno fight in Manchester. Never lives it down!

Know this thread is old. Anyone bumped into someone famous recently?

One's I've met:

Sally Bretton from Not Going Out in a local hospital canteen - think she was surprised to be recognised

Spoke with Jonathan Aitken the former disgraced Tory MP about 7 years ago at a Uni event for Alpha (Christian organisation)

Mick McCarthy again at my local hospital just after he had been sacked from Wolves. Nice man, in great shape for a retired football. Asked him if he and Keane exchange Xmas cards

Phil Tufnell in 2009 Christmas time at Gatwick (well actually, was too shy to go up to him and when he went to the loo just asked the lady with him 'Is that Phil Tufnell'). He was on same flight as me going to Dubai

I was in a beautiful Taverna in Corfu back in the 90's with my girlfriend and sitting at the next table was Timothy Spall a brilliant actor who I have always admired.

I didn't go over and bug him as I don't do that type of shit, but he noticed we were obviously British and we gave each other a nod.

He probably tells the same story at party 's. Bless him.

Met Johnny Marr and had a good chat. Best one though, though not A-list, remember Kate Nash? Sang that shit foundations song? She complimented the soup i was buying once, few hours later i was shagging her.

When you say Ian Brightwell for dinner do you mean tea?

I can never understand this preoccupation with putting certain people on a pedestal just because the happen to be lucky enough to be good at football or playing a guitar or singing or whatever. they are just people FFS, just other humans.
