Most influential signing of modern era????

Who do you think has been the the most influential /important signing of say the last 20 years? Im going to go with Andy morrison,where the club was at that time and where we was trying to get to i think he was the perfect signing and galvanised the team immediately,we all know he wasnt the most gifted of footballers but he grabbed us by the scruff of the neck and almost dragged us back up,he just instilled that belief? how we could use somebody like that now.over to you lot.

I would say Steve Daley, his signing was such a disaster(in a run of disasters)that the club took over 20 years to recover, if indeed it has yet.
