I did not know that about them dying young, that's rather sad.
I loved BB as a young girl. Of course I wanted my own horse, but only if I could have beauty. Very gracious of JB to write to your uncle, I bet it made his day.

It did ;-) And as a young girl I loved BB too, and always wanted a horse. Went for riding lessons from the age of about 8 and carried it on into my teens, but not to be. I won an apprentice scholarship to become a riding instructor when I was about 16, but my Gran thought me too young to live away at that time.
Oh well :-(
