David Seaman. Thought we had signed a top keeper but we had signed some geriatric instead. I was very disappointed.
Sounds like DonurrumaAlways thought Shay Given was a bit overrated. Yes, he was a good shot stopper but didnt command his area and seemed to stay on his line a lot. Still a decent keeper but not a great one for me although others may disagree.
Claudio Bravo . Nowhere to hide if you're a goalie .Wilfried Bony was a huge let down, big money target man signing all cos of a purple patch at Swansea, so much so they waved Dzeko out the door without giving him a second thought
Benjani was very underwhelming other than his derby winner, he seemed to be scoring every week at Pompey for a while then was bang average when he turned up
Same goes for Roque Santa Cruz, could barely get on the pitch when he was here
And then there’s Jo…
Strikers aside, special mention for Grealish (never ever a £100m player), foam hands Claudio Bravo and Mendy (looked a machine at Monaco that season, couldn’t defend for toffee when he turned up at City)
Yeah, but his hat trick vs arsenal was epicI'd go with Alvarez. A lot of City fans seem to remember him as being what Haaland is. He was nowhere near
Oscar Bobb was a decent young prospect until he got injured. The longer he was out, the more of a Ballon d'Or contender he became.
