I think he was the next Duncan Edwards when he was on the weigh scales and when they got out a tape measure and checked his height. And that's where the comparison ended.Phil Jones. Next Duncan Edwards.

He's right. It has. That's why they've dropped to mid tableCouple years ago some fat red dipshit at work was telling me deadly serious Scott McTominay was better than prime Patrick Vieira because 'the game had progressed since those days'
....and this is why we must hang the PL/cartel out to shrivel and dry.I am working in Immingham this week and so went to see Grimsby play Lincoln in the FA Trophy on Tuesday evening. As I was walking out I heard two Grimsby fans - a teenage girl and older male (presumably her father) talking about the City case against the Premier League, how we'd lost it and how we were going to get punished for the 115 charges. They seemed quite gleeful. I didn't say anything because it was a young female but was surprised to hear this from lower league fans. Maybe the dippers are their second team or something but it was quite disheartening as it seems we have lost the propaganda war where they were concerned.
I had felt bad for them for conceding the winner in the 94 minute but then thought fuck them fishy twats!
not since about 1896 ...they had some cracking cup wins between 1895 - 1891 i believe - but to say Blackburn are as big shows his lack of knowledge the foolNot any more, mate.
More like Duncan NorvellePhil Jones. Next Duncan Edwards.
I think its two fold. Our reputation is tarnished and yes they are probably liverpool/united fans , who have never set foot in either cityI am working in Immingham this week and so went to see Grimsby play Lincoln in the FA Trophy on Tuesday evening. Saw a podcast with troy deeney, he said leeds were bigger than city/That stupid fucker on Saturday social, Rory Jennings , saying that City are a similar sized club to Blackburn.
Leeds! What a load of tosh. Have always averaged, at there best, less than 40 thousand. What are these people smoking.Saw a podcast with troy deeney, he said leeds were bigger than city/
Not now, not ever. Never have and never were

Dirty Leeds had a few good years kicking everyone in the first division under brown envelope Revie. Nothing of note before that and Nothing since.Saw a podcast with troy deeney, he said leeds were bigger than city/

Won seven trophies in total, six of which were during the Revie era . The first , the League cup in 1968 . Yeah much bigger than us!Saw a podcast with troy deeney, he said leeds were bigger than city/

Deeney's still sore from the ass whupping he and his Watford team got from in the 2019 FA Cup Final. Add to that when Vinny said "harsh" to him after the sixth (or was it fifth) goal went in. That must have really felt like chili on a stick being poked in and out of his arsehole to him.Saw a podcast with troy deeney, he said leeds were bigger than city/

I was there.Asked a rag in the pub on Monday if he thought Ten would survive (didn't even call him Poundland etc as I know he's touchy, gets upset when I use 'we' talking about City). We'd been chatting about other stuff for a hour or so before and apart from footie he's ok.
He went straight into a rant about me telling lies about being at the '74 game at the swamp like he was, no City fans there/ he was on the pitch etc.no idea where he was going with this but, I just smiled and asked himif he felt proud going onto the pitch and did he go anywhere near Doyle while he went on & on, went to the bar just as SKY were breaking the charges result, as I returned he went full 115 bingo.
I continued to smile while he ran out of breath. All I wanted was his honest opinion on Poundland.
There's a lot of pain there.
Never will be. You forgot that bit.:-)Saw a podcast with troy deeney, he said leeds were bigger than city/
