Most treasured bits of City memorabilia

I made a triple frame of the first three times we won the league, each with confetti from the pitch. Mancini, Pellegrini and Pep’s first. Little plaque on each.

Gave it to my dad as a present some years back but nice to see it when I go round.

My 1969 Manchester City year book. My mum bought it when Tony Book was doing a signing session at Boots. Then my Dad arranged for someone he knew to take it to Maine Road for the rest of the players to sign it.. It's not in the greatest condition due to the fact you don't appreciate these things as a kid but it is priceless to me.

When at University in about 2007 a couple of the Brazilian girls on the course said that they hung around with the Brazilians we'd just signed. Sensing the sweet smell of bullshit I told them that I'd quite like Elano's autograph.

Uni was hectic and we didn't talk or bump into each other for months and then suddenly on/near my birthday one of them appeared with a bag. Inside was a brand new City shirt signed by none other than.....

.....Jo :)

(and I think Geovanni as well but it's in Portuguese - don't even know if they're real or whether the girls just signed it themselves as a laugh, still like it though)

Tried to attach a photo to see if anyone can confirm or deny whether it's a fake or a "fortune" :))

Carlo Nash autograph. My mum chased him through selfridges bedding dept in trafford centre to get it !
Met Carlo At Manchester Airport when I worked their in about 2005/6, I was attempting to tell him that I would have liked him to stay at City but it sort of came out wrong and it sounded more like I was telling him that where he'd ended up was a shit club in comparison.

Carlo walked off and then the rest of the Preston North End team, who were all within earshot of my conversation, all filed past me giving me proper evil stares and mumbled insults.

Never got his autograph :)

Just been sorting loft out. Had a break and saw this thread. Found this in the loft. It's from around 98 / 99. Mum won it at bingo :-)

Ha ha, that sounds like the scene in Saving Private Ryan when they're going through the dog tags :-)

I was trying to tell him that I thought he was still a Premier League keeper and that he didn't deserve to be playing in the lower tiers and it all went so fucking wrong. :))

Footballers are fucking massive up close too, so about 25 or 30 of them (summer tour), all about 6 foot + tall and proper gym fit filing past you with massive kit bags all calling you a **** or worse, and you've just got to stand there saying nowt and taking it. :))

Yeah, so that one turned out well.

This is one for the older poster,is from the old MCFC social club (Junior Blues) on claremont road.
As you can see it is huge and heavy,it is 10mm thick it is now on the wall of my sons bedroom.I have had it for a bit now but have never posted it until today,a few blues i know have got a bit green eyed over this sign

Hope you lot like it

I also have a Paul Power testimonial shirt from 1986,(i have posted it on the Retro kit thread)

Have you tried setting that up through a massive spotlight so you could project it Batman style into the night sky?

Genuine mate

Picture of my son (then 15) at Watford train station with Vinny after we had beaten Chelsea at Wembley
The security said move away but Vinny said it’s ok let’s have a picture

An old, tattered blue and white striped scarf. My dad gave it to me to grab hold of while I had my photo taken sat on Tommy Caton's knee.

I think I was about 18 months old and Tommy had turned up to my older brother's Junior Blues meeting.
