Most Underated Player To Have Played For Us!!!

Edgehill, a peramnent fixture in the rock solid defence that got us promoted twice.

Gary Owen
Steve MacKenzie
Andy Hinchcliffe who (if my facts are correct) didn't want to go and was sacrificed on the alter of a sweeper system (Alan Harper) and also around the time of his mothers death. Thus promping a dark time for Andy

Always thought he'd have achieved more although with Pearce and the under rated Dorigo around at the time ,there was plenty competition for England LB spot

Also a great pundit

Tommy Hutch, the most naturally gifted footballer I have ever seen. Togerther with Gerry Gow, hard as nails, and Bobby Mac, (remember him playing in goal once), all signed by Bond, and were all a revelation, even tho they spent most of their spare times pissed up in the Griffin and Stamford, they still took us to wembley, where the greatest goal ever scored there by Steve Mackenzie was overshadowed by a stumbling, never once in possession of the ball and just toe poking it around half hearted challenges Villa effort........Happy Days

Wiekens, Horlock and Jensen are good shouts.

Mpenza has to be the most underated though. He did basically keep us up, and didn't deserve to be shown the door last season after a decent start. Would have loved to have seen Mpenza and Bianchi up front together more.

Edit: Add Foe to that list.

Niall Quinn never got the credit he deserved when he was with us!

Good shout. He was as good with his feet as he was with his head but everyone tended to ignore this, which I could never understand.

Clive Allen

mettomo- he always did his job
