What about the youtube views?(views not just subscribers) I reckon we're one of the top clubs on youtube, other fans all seem rather envious of the content dished out in the comments. Does this not sound suspiciously like good PR(paid for?) for United from Sly Sports? Since when did Sky put out figures for twitter and website hits as newsworthy topics? We need to be putting our own "wins" out there, I've just taken a look at their website and there's really nothing special about it(so basic and kind of ugly...seems stuck in the past but that suits them) so no need to be getting an inferiority complex just yet. I don't really use the City website but then I never did much because I mainly go for video content and most of that is on youtube(big potential to reach more people there anyway and the club probably gets money from it). I preferred the older design for the website but really most of the problems people are having is with the navigation system which can be rectified with a little tinkering. If they really want more website page hits (excluding video content) they could offer more exclusive articles, inside info etc but whether it's worth holding back from other platforms I don't know isn't the point that anything they put out reaches as many people as possible regardless of where they view it?
The City media team(not the PR side that handles responding to bad press though which seems none existent and undoes a lot of good work in a way) get "props" from rival fans all the time they are miles better than what most clubs have right now so we should consider ourselves lucky, we are growing United and Liverpool are shrinking year on year, anyone denying that is deluding themselves.
