Motability - the farce

For balance yes, why not.

From the top of my head

The longest and deepest recession in history
The largest number of economically inactive in history - in excess of 8 million
Record high youth unemployment
In excess of 1000 quangos
The largest budget defecit of any major nation
A failing nhs with more infections causing death than road accidents
Uncontrolled immigration
The bloating of the public sector

As I said from the top of my head. Not a bad start.

Not really..i for one know how dangerous and useless Labour are, but it simply doesnt justify the Tories and their supporters in using Labour as their excuse for failure or to justify them. Frankly all we have heard for 6 years is Labour this and Labour that.....its bollocks and its unforgivable.

Genuinely I think the Tories have done a magnificent job. What do you think they have done wrong?

So no different from the government they took over and so on and on and on and on.......

Blame game played by career politicians with no skill set to actually think up and implement positive policies.

All as bad as each other.

From the top of my head

The longest and deepest recession in history- World wide recession how could it be down to Labour?
The largest number of economically inactive in history - in excess of 8 million
Record high youth unemployment
In excess of 1000 quangos
The largest budget defecit of any major nation
A failing nhs with more infections causing death than road accidents- Tories are making it far worse
Uncontrolled immigration-h Te Tories are making it worse and for their own greedy agenda whilst blaming labour and the EU
The bloating of the public sector

As I said from the top of my head. Not a bad start.

I wont comment on the ones that I dont have enough knowledge to do so, i will leave that to the Tory voters.

Yes i agree they do...but the Tories have taken it to a new level, they would soon stop if people didnt swallow it every time.

Masters of playing to their fanbase and making them hate the very people they wish to persecute with the ideology driven policies.

The folk fall for it everytime im afraid instead of saying hang on and asking serious questions about what there elected MP's are aftually doing on their behalf.

Possibly true but the 5 years I endured under labour were horrendous. This government is ensuring the northern powerhouse is rebalancing the economy from London. they are also looking to get the work ethic back in the country and trying to stimulate the economy. We have record numbers of new businesses, record overseas investment in our city. Manchester has never been better placed. I don't say the Tories are perfect but they in my opinion are far better than the alternative for now. (I voted labour in the Blair / brown years)

Terrible for us all mate thanks to the big banks taking the piss and then going cap in hand so they can carry on as if nothing happened.

Please dont blame Labour for it as its gone on since time started with them and will go on forever.

Not a day goes by where they dont have to put a few more £Billion aside to pay for yet more pisstaking and basically fraud they have committed.

As for Manchester i will probably bow to your obviously superior knowledge here and no doubt they are making a difference but id wager no more than our great owner and what he has done and will do in the future.

As for it being a Northern powerhouse, its nothing but talk as this country revolves around London and the south east and always will and the rest can feed off the scraps and that goes for labour as well.

So you agree they have done well sorting out the mess. Let's close the thread.

Ok now your just being silly and well done for embracing the Tory answer to anyone who disagrees with them....

So how about

Wrecking the NHS
Wrecking the Armed forces
Encouraging a bully culture in our country
Hiding behind the previous government in almost everything.

A bully culture? Fuck me is that the best you can come with? How have they wrecked the Nhs?

5 cranes My company have up in the city centre say it's not all talk.

So the relentless demonising of the less fortunate is ok is it?

I trust you havent had cause to use the hospitals recently.....Private health scheme maybe?

I do have private health scheme. Yes. But recently took my dad to Tameside hospital and it was a fucking disgrace. Like being in Florence nightingales ward.

Bit of both

Im pleased for you mate and the lads and lasses who are earning a crust from it.

Is it not the case though that land was cheap compared to the south and that labour needed to both build and then run future tenant businesses makes it a no brainer?

Did the government push money in as grants to help it along?

Indeed I sympathise and I hope your father is ok. Mine passed away due to red tape and over worked nhs staff. My partner who has suffered several strokes has to attend one of these assesments and is beside herself over it...she isnt even fit to go, but will be doing so as she will lose all her benefits if she does not. I myself have a long term health condition that cannot be treated...but could be and would be if either i had private health or lived in most other civilised countries. Shall i continue?

The government matched funded private equity to promote prs in Manchester. (The private rented sector). Has led to many major construction schemes, thousands of jobs, major overseas investment and a confidence in the city centre which clearly helps the region. The northern powerhouse is very real.

I go out of my way to recruit long term unemployed, indeed even scallywags from North Manchester estates who have not had much luck. Tens and tens of young lads who have not had a break now working on these schemes been promoted to foremen etc.

before pb accuses me of going off topic this is a perfect example of government investment in the private sector promoting jobs growth in the north and creating not just jobs but careers.

And I hope you and your mrs get the support you deserve. I truly do. . My own mother didn't work for 30 years and used to say to me throughout my childhood. These bastads are going to re assess me and I might loose my benefits. She was on long term sick. There was absolutely fuck all wrong with her except being fat and bone idle. She had the brand new Ford Focus etc, She milked the system for years while having a boyfriend she dint officially live who could be described as rich. What would you say to her?

Maybe if the government can make the necessary cuts they may be able to help more?
