MOTD Tonight.

Even if he had touched it, it shouldn't be a goal, because for one you have to touch it out of the 'D' for it to be a legal corner

Thank you.
I was getting more and more irate at them discussing whether or not Yakubu 'touched it', when it didn't matter because it clearly was still in the quadrant.

Wankers don't know the rules.

Is there any player more overrated that Hernandez? He is such a shocking footballer. He is just a tap in merchant when it actually comes to doing something else like controlling that Rooney cross he is shite.

The ball doesn't have to come out of the quadrant for a corner kick. Check the laws as there are no rules in football.

Dermot Gallagher even reiterated this last night on Talkshite.

Cant see it on the iplayer

didnt watch it and it failed to record on saturday.

You didn't really miss much, a comment about our trading loss (stupid not to expect it given that it was all over the back pages on Sat) but overall a fair summation of the game, a nice bit about how the fuck crapello cannot pick Micah and blah blah blah about the other games.

The ball is in play when it is kicked and moves.
OK so it doesn't have to come out of the quadrant, but the way Lineker and co were going on,they made out that if Yakubu touched it at all, it was live.

All you have to do is touch it which Yakubu didn't, same as taking a penalty it doesn't have to leave the penalty spot as Arsenal tried against us a few years back, just a touch and the ball is live.

Keep a lookout on MOTD tonite for an interesting Blackburn goal at Wigan scored from a corner that's probably deemed 'illegal'!

and no doubt the three clowns that are on MOTD will sit there laughing about it when potenially it could cost Wigan Tens of millions of pounds

If there's any shite, crap end of the green, the bizarre, the wholly wrong, it seems Wigan are copping for summat every bloody week. I have great admiration for Martinez and the dignity he shows each week after one travesty following another marks him out as admirable..

Just another example where a goal should not be awarded before the fourth official has had another look. Takes but twenty seconds - a third of the celebration time! But hey ho, Blatter still in charge so let's forget it!
