Why do people get their knickers in a twist over who's on MOTD first? It doesn't mean you're the best, doesn't mean you're top, it doesn't mean the game was the most entertaining, it doesn't mean anything. MOTD is just a package of various clips, put together and edited in such a way as to tell a story of the day.
Today the story was that City did really well, but United did better. So that's why it's in that order tonight.

To be fair, if the rags had been hammered 5-0 they'd still have done better, somehow. Although they'd probably have been on last.
