Anyone remember last season on MOTD2 I think it was against Chelsea, Lee Dixon and Colin Murray and some other guy, all giggling with each other and sniggering, saying Torres will definitely come good and that Dzeko will never come good and that he's a dud.

I wonder if this gem is on youtube?

These "pundits" seem to think he only existed when he started playing for Man City, he was bought for a big fee, 27m and is a world class striker. Just last night when Martinez brought up the point of Dzeko being used to playing with his strike partner Grafite so would take time to adjust, Lee Dixon and Alan Hanson looked horrified and couldn't wait to move on...as they haven't a clue about football outside their own little world.

Sorry for the rant but it is nice to see all the haters dissapear. Once again if anyone has that MOTD clip please post it!! :D

Can't remember what game it was last season but remember Dixon slating Dzeko last season
 
This is why Lee Dixon, Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson and Alan Shearer are sat on a couch watching football rather than managing or coaching.

They're not up to the real job. Those who have tried it have failed miserably.

I listen to Alvin Martin on Talksport belittling Mancini as a manager... the same Alvin Martin who failed as a manager at Southend!

They have to be controversial. That's what they are good at... talking through their arses.

Considering Dixon's suppossed to be a City fan it was disgusting some of the stuff he said about Dzeko, I remember people on here slaughtering Dixon now. Thankfully now he along with many others are eating their words

Well Dzeko had much worse on Bluemoon where City fans are majority...

Along with all our other players on here at times
 
Dzeko looks great compared to the forwards that moved at the same time.
Dzeko 24 games 12 goals.
Carroll 13 games 3 goals.
Torres 21 games 1 goal.

Dzeko cost less than both players and has scored more goals. Dzeko could well get 20 + goals this season.

You can add many more to that list, failed football managers who`s opinion we are suppose to listen to. Chris Waddle, failed at sheff wed, Chris Coleman, failed everywhere he went, and Merson who failed at Wallsal.
We the have champagne charlie telling us how poor some of the modern day players attitude towards the game is wrong, very true but very wrong from a player who had a piss poor attitude during his playing days.

He has 6 already. I'd say 20+ was a bloody certainty.
 
To be fair Dixon last night did say last year I had a right go at him and this year he looks a different player. Last year his first touch was poor. Last year he did look over weight. This year he does look a different player.

I put it down to having a pre-season with gods apprentice.

Not true, a small very vocal minority were shouting about him, the majority of posters knew the score and knew he needed time to adjust
 
The only regular TV pundit that I can think of, that has any room to talk about the game and management, is Kevin Keegan

Not sure how small they were. Kola and Milner have gotten the same abuse.
