Motorists on the pavement.

It's been referred to the IPCC and surely all police cars have dash cams now?
Ah, then more than just the rumour my Dad mentioned this morning. I think he'd been in Saudi for a few years and so maybe passed his test there. They drive like shit in the Middle East as you well know. Deadliest roads in the world, in fact.

Yep. And after being run into twice and getting the blame as I wasn't a local, I now also have front and rear cameras recording.

They are crazy and also think anyone indicating is a sign of weakness. They are arseholes on the roads and then the most hospital people I've ever met out of the car. It's very odd.

The Middle East. It's just very odd. I hated driving in Dubai. People were forever trying to smash into me for no good reason.

As far as the breathalyzer thing goes, you will randomly be prompted to blow into it. If you don't blow into it, or do and fail, the ignition will shut down.
I suppose you could always try flagging down motorists on the side of the road and ask them to "blow into this".

I can believe that - I remember getting a cab into Dubai once when it was misty / foggy so quite bad visibility, we were on a 3 / 4 lane road (probably Sheikh Zayed road) coming into the city and because of the poor visibility everyone had turned their hazard lights on. I couldnt work out what would happen if you wanted to change lane or pull over, but that explains a lot.

Surely can't be worse than India - fuck me that's mad shit! Not as bad as it used to be! Accelerator and horn that is all that is needed ! Cows, sports cars , tuk tuks, trucks, pedestrians making 5 lanes on a two lane rd
