'I heard it through the grapevine' - Marvin Gaye The UK favourite motown track?

Not even the best version of the song. Gladys Knight by a mile.

Where was 'take me in your arms, rock me'... or 'Seven rooms of Gloom'

Muppets!

absolute class.

R Dean Taylor.
I don.t know if it was released on the Motown label but he also had a hit single with
"Gotta See Jane" sometime in the seventies. It had been around for a few years and
I used to hear it played regularly at "Brown.s "in Moston in the late sixties.
I always thought it was called "Red Light, Green Light. " The first verse started with
"Red Light. Green Light
Running thru the dark night,
Calling out her name,
I Gotta See Jane"......
....and another thing R. Dean was also much in demand as a session musician.
Apparently he was a highly regarded tambourine player!
Nice work if you can get it eh!?
