mountain biking meet up

Im currently in the process of restoring mine. Cant wait to get back on it. Any decent trails in mid cheshire?

They can cost a shit load more than that, particular carbon bikes; still the are tough and from experience they take a lot of stick, at least mine do.

They say if you've ever dropped your bike via a spill or simply by accident then bin your carbon bars whether you can see damage or not..that's hardly being able to take a load of stick, kid i know was screaming down holmes moss on a sunday afternoon and one of his carbon legs on his front fork fell off (presumably cause it looked ok from a previous spill)..air ambulance had to be called to remove him. That said they do say carbon is this that and the other before they sell it ya..i've never seen a snapped steel handlebar, seen cracked titanium, seen cracked alu, seen cracked carbon....cracked steel is a rare lot.
 
A good mate of mine is seriously into MTB and has several ludicrously expensive bikes.

Sadly, he tells me lately that trail vandalism is on the rise in Greater Manchester and he's had a few near misses with cunts laying spike traps and fishing wire in known biking hotspots.
