His posts defy logic and epitomise the adage biting nose to spite face. I can't believe what I read in response to be honest.

Clearly we won't be finding any common ground here anytime soon,and anyone can cherrypick statistics/quotes/opinions or whatever other spurious means of 'proving' the case for either camp,but you still won't triumph in the hearts and minds campaign and win over dissenters.
I'm not trying to stifle debate here - far from it,but debate that just goes round in circles is at best counter productive,and at worst an utter waste of time that sets blue against blue whilst bringing nothing new to the table.
I don't think one poster has changed their initial stance on Mancini and any potential successor since that 300 page epic Groundhog Day of a thread started,and I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
I respect any opinion,whether I share it or not,but ultimately none of us will have any input when it comes to a decision being made,and as blues we will get behind the team whatever,because that is what real fans do.
