Mourinho did us a big favour

Strongly disagree. Two seperate issues entirely. Mourinho is absolutely breezing the mind games without even really trying. Pellegrini is a classy operator, to his credit, but he's also mentally weak. This is really first gear Jose fayre, and Pellegrini's struggling to hold his own. Yaya wasn't banned simply because there have been other precedents set this season. Plus, contrary to popular belief, we have friends in high places, within the FA, the press, and most importantly the Referees Association, as big decisions in most key games this season have proven. Nobody's out to get us.
There are no mind games we had Aguero Fernandinio and Nasri out they had there top 11 on the field I would love to see that turned round Hazard willian and terry out and us with our strongest side. They would have got spanked
He is just piss and wind but people listen to him

He was going well in his war of words, pellegrini fought back a bit and he managed to irk the city fans. I actually think though by opening his gob, going too far and trying to pressure refs but also pressure the FA to ban Yaya that he actually made the ban less likely as they would not want to be seen to be pressured and generally pressure for or against something with the FA backfires. So I genuinely think his gobshiteness has gone too far and actually done us a big favour!
The FA had nothing to do with it. I can't imagine Mourinho mouthing off had much influence on 3 ex-referees sat at home on their own watching a replay from the comfort of their sofas.

those that are saying Pellers is losing the mind games...im curious as to what you are basing this on? whats he done? hes deflected 99% of the baiting questions that have been thrown at him....just bevause we have had 2 poor results, its nothing to do with mind games, its just injuries and a fatigued squad. I dont see how moroniho's comments have had an impact.

Well said fella, as with fergie all this mind games is nonsense.

It's all just lip service, who gives a shit. If our team is good enough on the field, we will win. If not, we won't... End of.

Sadly, this.

Jose single handedly won the head to head at our place. Fernandino's injury played a part sure, but that's not why we lost. He had psyched us out completely. The knock on effects were clearly visible at Norwich where we played with an obvious lack of swagger and confidence compared to our norm. It was the most nervy, laboured performance I have seen all season.

Maureen is only in first gear. He's not remotely bothered Yaya didn't get a ban, although it would likely have amused him if he did. It was just one of the countless opportunities he has to wind us up, and put pressure on the officials. One of our players will only have to cough loudly in the FA Cup game and they will see red.

To be honest I didn't use to mind Maureen and perhaps admired him more than anything. But the more I watch him, he really is a slimeball of the highest order.

Whether you are "good enough on the field" must surely mean "playing well enough". And that is not just about quality, it's about how whether you are having a good day, or a bad day at the office. That's a hugely important part, probably the most important when you consider any PL team can beat any other on the day.

If you can get under the skin of your opponents so that they don't perform at their best, it gives you a huge advantage.
