The Moaner is of course correct. Under Premier League FFP regs. clubs losing more than £105m over 3 years will be subject to points deductions. This rule however will not come into force until 2016 when figures for 2014/15/16 will be added together. Our 2014 loss was £23m and we appear to be heading for profit so things should be fine for us.
Liverpool FC on the other hand made a £50m loss in 2014 and look like they may miss out on Champions League for 2016. It will be worth watching their financial progress. I'm sure those guardians of the people Arsene and Jose will keep us all informed.

Exactly. This is Mourinho's famous second year in charge where he always wins something. I think he senses that his squad (largely down to the way he's managed it) could be in trouble and he's getting his excuses in early. A prize cockgobbler of the first water.
