Eating pickled eggs at the boat race!
SSN showing the special one.....he says that if UEFA punish him for his sending off last night he will walk away from football. He feels that he can no longer talk openly!

Sounds like he is spinning shite in an attempt to take the heat off his poor tactics last night! Thoughts?

What was wrong with his tactics, he did about the only thing you can do to Barcelona. And it was working until the Ref sent his player off for nothing

He never started with a striker, never set out to test Puyol or Mascherano who were both playing out of position......and Barca were missing Iniesta, so he had no requirement to set his midfield up defensively with two holding players.

If he started with a mentality of playing football, the result would have probably been fairer and with no onfield and off-field dramas!

IMO

Agreed mate, it was a game of 4 quarters. Sent out his team to be cautious and not concede an early goal. Came out in the second half looking to press forward more but the sending off changed the game. He didn't get his tactics wrong at all IMO.

You can't park the bus in front of your own goal, if in the past you have slagged other teams for doing the same thing. He has just shown that tactically, all he can do against better opposition is to kick lumps out of them, and defend. No tactical genius needed, just 11 men behind the ball and lots of niggling tackles all night long. The sooner he leaves them, the sooner he can join us and win trophies.....

The Pepe red may have been slightly harsh maybe not, although it was a fucking shitbag challenge the way he stuck his studs out while turning his face away, dangerous I'd say. On the other Marcelo did a double stamp on a player who was down, that should deffo have been a straight red so it evened out.

He and his reaction epitomize everything that is wrong in modern football.

He has no dignity for himself or anyone else.

Great coach!

It would be a massive loss for football to lose him. I hope they dont punish him. He should be allowed to say what he said.

It's true too. I would be pissed of too if i would get that much red cards in all those games he has had against Barcelona. And they dont even book those divers: Pedro, Alves, Biscuits.

Barca have power in the refs just like United. There are lots of refs that admire those teams, im sure of it.

And if someone said that his tactics were negative..jus look at Mancini. He parks the bus against Arsenal, Chelsea etc...

Can you blame Mourinho for doing that against the best team in the world? There is no other way to win them...just look at how United won the CL 2008. They parked the bus against Barca in the semi-finals.

And we can't forget Adebayor and his elbow.

Or Biscuits falling over holding his face every time someone got near him and occasionally when he was 20 yards away from everyone

He'll be sacked anyway. They shouldn't of got rid of Pellegrini but thats Real Madrid for you.

Ronaldo was the recognised striker. Mascherano and Puyol have had stints in those positions all season.

I can't understand people saying his tactics never worked as his plan was fine until the sending off. In fact those tactics worked in the copa del rey final and for Inter last season.

The thing I have issue with however is that Madrid hired a sniper who was sat in the stands. Next time take a Barca player out when he is near one of Madrids players. It was too obvious what was going on.

-- Thu Apr 28, 2011 2:22 pm --

Him and Pedro...........and Alves...........and Pique grabbing the player round the throat..........and Valdes for running 50 yards to go to the ref and then the half time tunnel incident................and Milito in the half time incident.......... Oh and Xavi, Masherano, Villa all going to surround the ref at every decision.

No way..thats sucide. He has no experience expect coaching the best team in the world and it's academy team.

I think he would fail elsewhere. It would be a huge risk. And his Barca team is so one-dimensional. His football wouldn't work in england.

Agreed^

Teach a parrot to say 'Give it to Messi' and he would win them the league.
