Moving from the North Stand?

Massive shame for us as we (group of 6) have cracking seats in 137 at the back of the stand. We have all sat together for many years but are now going to have to either pay more to get into East or Colin Bell... or end up on the front row in the South Stand... bummer!

I sit in 138, BB. Love the seat and the (majority) of people. Gonna be gutted to move after all this time to be honest.

you dont have to move.

it's only adult season ticket holders with kids who are now 16+ who have to move out of the family stand to make way for ST holders with kids.
the fact that its a FAMILY stand and aimed at having an area for parents the kids aged 16 and under, more will be needed as there should be a family only area, where young kids , who lets face it,can be timmid and frieghtened, at the soud of the crowd going ape, when city score, put your self in the eyes of a 6 year old and tell me you still dont see why its a thing that has to be done, imagine being surrounded by say 20 giants then all of a sudden theres this ALMIGHTY cammotion, do you realy want to go through that again or will it give you nightmares for years to come?, it could scare them away from the game for life, HAVE WE GOT THE RITE TO DO THIS TO OUR YOUNGEST< OR DO WE NUTURE THEM SO THEY BECOME AS LOYAL AS DAD AND GRANDAD< and look forward to the match, as its a place of great memorys, and will bring on the next generation , a so on...

I 100% agree.. its all about the future!

but there will always be a few who feel slightly aggrieved to move out of their seat they've sat in for 6 years.. im not affected, as i was going to move anyway.

Alrights lads, I understand that you dont want to move, but if your going to have to i would consider East stand block 309.

Me and my brother sit here, Its one of the the cheapest blocks in the east stand, you are right on top of block 110 and the away fans so the atmosphere carries up here more than the other blocks in the east stand level 3.

Currently i would say that there is 20-30 seats spare that could be used by season ticket holders, so it could accomodate large numbers and would welcome vocal fans to go with what we already have!!!

Its £420 for an adult up here so with the £50 discount for moving your ticket will cost £370 - not too bad.

whats the view like?

So the great seats we've got behind the goal in the North Stand since we moved to COMS, we've got to give them up as this is now the stand for "tailored children’s entertainment and family friendly food and drink options".

Not happy at all. Don't care if it may turn out a bit cheaper elsewhere with a £50 discount, seems as though loyalty counts for nothing.

personally i think its good mate, obv you are a distance from the pitch but not as far as some ppl make out, it gives you a different view on the game - you can see the runs that are being made and alot more of the tactical stuff that you can on lower levels.

And like i said the atmosphere is ok due to closeness to away fans and 110/111, with a few more vocal people it could become really good.

Here we go.

thanks City you wankers

my mrs and I sit in Block 139

love the seats and have many friends sat around us

we now have to move to a more expensive area of the ground (discount only for the first year) and away from people we have known for years

what choice of seats will we have, as presumably all the decent seats in say the East Stand will already be taken by existing seasoncard holders there? (front row to get pissed through and a shit view!!)

so much for loyalty to people who have supported the club for 32+ years through some truely awful times - all so a load of kids who will spend half the time not even watching the game or eating sweets/crisps can sit together and have their faces painted at half time? - the North Stand will be a morgue and the atmosphere as a whole will suffer

why not make part of Level 3 the Family Stand? - nice and quiet , no-one standing up etc

poorly thought out and will alienate many many seasoncard holders

I will NOT be renewing and will just buy tickets for games I fancy and will not bother for Wigan or Blackburn at home on Monday night in mid winter!!!

Nail on head.

Couldn't give a toss about regular seasoncard holders. "Let's get more families in as they're the ones who buy more merchandise" seems to be the message.

And when was this supporter feedback mentioned on the OS? I can't recall being consulted for my views.
