You shouldn't need a cooker, fridge or washing machine. They are part of the fixtures and fittings.
It's weird, a free standing cooker is hard wired into the mains- I'd call this a fixture but apparently it's a fitting as it's not 'fixed' to the wall. a built in oven/ hob should be a fixture (it's fixed in).
Free standing fridges and washing machines are fittings too. I can understand that with a washing machine as it's plumbed in but a fridge is only plugged in. I've seen plenty of houses on those doing up the house programmes where the fridge and washing machine (especially) have been removed by the previous owners. They should be there by rights but I suppose the buyer can adjust for this when they see the inventory.
As a tenant these are likely to be seen as necessities in this day and age though some may argue over the washing machine depending on local facilities.
You might be struggling to take the bed and wardrobe with you into furnished accommodation.
Small electric grills are worth the investment. Kettle, Tea Towel, Holders, Oven Mit, shower curtain, bath rug. You'll find you end up buyin a lot along the way.
