Thanks for the replies and welcomes everyone. I'm actually living just off Oxford Road so the Footage Bar sounds ideal.

I'm from Stafford in the Midlands, my Dad's from Manchester and my cousins live there so I'm reasonably familiar with the city, just no so much with the bars and pubs.

First of all I must say that what I am going to say a certain little Argie was once gloryfied@ CITY with the message of "WELCOME TO MANCHESTER" Good look BLUE :)

Hi all

On a similar topic (can`t post my own yet as new member) but does anybody know of a supporters club in or near Torquay (Devon) ? I have been a supporter since 1964 and born in Torquay but now retired. I am a blue city card holder. Been home and away a fair bit over the years. I drink in the Printers Elbow with a 3 or 4 other City fans and it would be good to have a few more pop in. As said though would love to hear of any supporters anywhere nearby re travel, meetings etc

I'm starting at the University of Manchester on Monday and moving in tomorrow. I'm a life long City fan thanks to my Dad but have grown up being the only one in my town, so naturally I'm excited by the prospect of meeting more fellow Blues.

I know my way to and from the ground, but don't know the city centre particularly well so was wondering if anyone can recommend a Blue pub to watch the game in on Tuesday.

I'd also be interested in joining any supporters' clubs in the centre if I'm welcome and anyone has any information.

Hi Dexter,

Tried the South West link on various sites but appears site not active now. Secretary had add in Plymouth and I might give him a call or mail. As said though would be good to have some info on supporters in Torquay. I watch most City games on big screen at Printers Elbow but don`t mind other places if a few fans about. I see lots of city shirts walking the town but only a few in pub.
