I also understand about the BBC being blamed for everything. I blame them for their treatment of THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD but not everything else. :-)

I wont watch the series, the whole episode has made me really angry over the years following it on the news, and I dont want it again. But I still hope those people in the the Royal Mail dont keep their bonuses. And thats about as much as the victims can hope for besides compensation.

What will be a bigger travesty is if no one from Post office or Fujitsu is prosecuted for charges including involuntary manslaughter.

I agree. Anything like this where people have lied, it should be tracked back and prosecutions made

Me and mrs have signed it but, it shouldn’t need a petition. The government should take the lead and just do it seeing she hasn’t an ounce of morality and handed it back voluntarily

Made my blood boil too. There HAS to be some accountability and the people within Fujitsu and the Post Office who covered this up need to be prosecuted (and bonuses etc recovered) not just have 'honours' removed. I was brought up to believe crime doesn't pay but unfortunately it does these days. Saying sorry and keeping the money just doesn't cut it.

People have committed suicide over this. For me, anyone who was involved in this deserves to go down for a fucking long time. 20 years minimum if not more. Whether it's possible to bring charges of a serious enough nature that carry such a long sentence I've no idea but they should be given the maximum punishment for whatever crimes they're (hopefully) convicted of.
