Clubs shouldn’t get involved with fan culture. Commercialising it for a bit of profit now means it’s dead. Should never be seen again now the club have made it uncool.

Aye, I'd let him carry on unofficially, or even not attached to the club, while doing more pro stuff on the official channels. Or if he is on here then he should stick a stick a patreon or something else on his page, the commentaries have cheered me right up in the last month or so, I'd be happy to buy him a (digital) pint.

The downside of our comms and merchandise team is they're a bit too on things. In the 90s this would have carried on as a cult thing and the merch would have been made by a couple of lads and sold outside the ground. The same thing happened with the shark team stuff, it was pounced on before it even had chance to grow on its own.
