Its Guinness time any day of the week.
With the superb way in which the Club has managed to acquire the services of one of the worlds Top 5 Players, should this statement make it any easier to bring on other high profile players ?
In the past they may have looked on us as a possible gamble, but now with the CL and Aguero coming on board, will it be easier to promote our Club and not just from a financial package ??

I Always said to my nephew who follows that team. When we got cl place we will win league because we would be able to attract higher quality of player. That statement was made 4 years ago along with 40 pound bet, with him.Fingers crossed.

Aguero is the first true world class superstar we have signed.

Not knocking silva/yaya/tevez but they arent held in the esteem he is.

If he performs well and settles we'll have no problem attracting other marquees such as kakas/messis/iniestas/Ibra etc now as those level of players become available.

I still can't believe we have him, just a few years ago I couldn't imagine us affording someone like Kevin Doyle let alone Aguero!

Love it!

There is more than one Kaka but there is only one Messi and one Iniesta!

Plus very very few world class superstars come to the Prem. United have never bought one, Chelsea only signed their first in January, but he already looks spent. The Premier League brings in young talent who make their name here!

Well there is another Argentinian superstar I think we would all like to see
He's a Barca player, Barca made him, helped him so much he'll stay there for good! I don't particularly ever want Messi neither. I want to be scouring the world to find the future best player in the world. Someone who makes his name at City. Or more specifically get into all Nurseries in the Manchester area and find our future Gerrard, Raul, Maldini, Xavi... a local fan who would die for the team who is exceptionally good. After we sign Nasri (HOPEFULLY!)(GET IT DONE CITY!) the only thing we'll be missing is this!

I just hope we make signings quickly and then put out a sttememt saying 'that's it no more signings' so we can stop the silly media speculation and the squad can start working on a gameplan.

Do you think Robinho was in that league? I do.

Reports in Spain claim Atletico Madrid have inserted a clause in Sergio Aguero's Manchester City deal that means he cannot be sold to Real Madrid for two seasons.
