Muffin for me ...a barm is a totally Southern thing to ask for !!!

they are called rolls in the South :-)

A chip roll??? DOnt think thats right in anyway.I live down here and never heard them ask for a chip roll??definitely Barm

Ive also heard them called Baps though, never muffins!

Starbucks sell muffins, greasy spoons and chippy's sell barms/baps.
