Muffin or Barm

Quite simple really Barms don't have that brown ring on them those muffins do however the whole point of this thread was basically what is served at a chippy the one most of us know where it is (the one next to Mary D's) serves a CHIP BARM

Thats only because the menu on display in Tony's chippy was wrote by someone who doesn't know it should have said muffin, I was actually told this when I pointed out their error.
Tony's, like most chippy's, use the oven bottom MUFFINS in the pics.

Had two fish muffins for tea. Lovely stuff. Can't beat a nice oven bottom muffin.


I concur and they are just as nice with a cornish pasty in them.
