Ref that table above -

Teacake - putting the word tea before cake does not mean its not a cake !
Cob - a type of horse

Bara - Welsh - fucking foreign language word which translates as "muffin" I bet
Bap - something you find in a lasses bra
Breadcake - see Teacake above
Softie - there is nothing soft in Aberdeen the Granite City
Barm - see barmcake above
Muffin - the correct word as derived from the Queen's English - excellent when containing cooked bacon etc etc
Bun - something to be found round the back of a girl - best in pairs and made of steel
Morning roll - only to be enjoyed if the other half is up for it
Stotty - a stotty is massive - about the size of the Isle of Man not to be confused with a muffin
Batch - the noun for the group in which muffins are baked - ie" is that batch of Muffins ready Colin? "
Oven Bottom - of muffins - the greatest - well executed is a thing of rare beauty - see muffin above
Roll - some pastry found around a sausage
Scuffler - well thats Yorkshire for you - they will fight over anything

Which is why its a muffin - or oven bottom muffin if we are using Sunday names.
