have you had a pea supper they sell them at the bakers near me its steak pie with mushy peas on top and then flaky pastry really nice

Prefer the old fashioned chip shop peas which no one seems to do anymore, dried peas soaked overnight then cooked, Still can't beat Chips Hollands Meat pies, peas gravy and of course an oven bottomed muffin to make a chip muffin with and mop up the gravy laced with vinegar and salt. Oh and I forgot the scraps on top.
