Mullery Backs Hughes for Fulham job on SSN

Erikkson and Alan Curbishley are the favourites for the Fulham job apparently. That doesn't surprise me, Sven will go anywhere for a nice big signing on fee. Curblishley would be a more sensible appointment and a good one for a club of Fulham's size and budget

Sadly in my minds eye I can see one or two prominent BMs nodding sagely in agreement at Mullery's words
Mackintosh was rumoured to have wanted to appoint Hughes in 2007 (when Sven was appointed) and it may be that he is wanted by Fulham, but the stuff about working together isn't true. They were only together for a few days, if that.
Other factors also come into play like... Hughes is settled in north-west, would he move to London now?
I think a more likely option would be Stuart Pearce. He did work well with Alistair.
I'm surprised they haven't mentioned Keegan!
