yeah its great, for nightlife jump in a taxi and just ask the driver to take you to the nightclubs, just a short ride away, some of them didnt like my accent on the door but most were ok...its buzzin

just remembered the name of the nightlife district..haidhausen..lots of bars and clubs in one district
 
the marienplatz is where you ll find the best market, you WILL see men in leather shorts, and when you go in the the large beer hall just sit at the table because when you first go in you kind of just stand around and wonder what to do, just sit on a table next to some krauts and join in, its a bit touristy thats why i said jump in a taxi to the nightlife district, you can go on the u bahn but you probably wouldn t know where to get off, so just jump in a taxi, around £15
 
It's awesome Scowy. I've been twice to the Oktoberfest and stayed for 4 nights each time. The only thing is, I was pissed half the time and can't remember what any of the places we went to are called! lol.

The women are fit as anything - especially in traditional leiderhosen costume. :)
 
Cheers people,not concerned with the nightlife much,just find me a traditional Bavarian drinking house and i'll be happy lol.I believe the Hobfrahaus is popular with the locals and tourists alike.Want to see Dachau,Neuschwestein castle,and do the Hitlers Munich tour.Oh and the Allianz arena as well.
