I wish everything to do with that vile, cretinous club & it's out of town imposter morons didn't exist.

Imo, nothing in humanity is bad enough for them.

In my lifetime many of them referred to themselves as 'MUNICH's' and expected to be addressed as such.

It wasn't until a new generation of media sycophants began to 'campaign' against its existence & acceptance.

They were however, prepared to accept and all that vile clubs deluded ,entitled cretinous fans to mock career ending injuries to Glyn Pardoe & Colin Bell, sing songs about burning City fans, and accept yewnytid fans stating " we'll do what we want " !!

Fucking hypocrisy in plain sight by their fans, club and media who continue to ignore the fact that that club evicted widows and orphans from their homes within months of the plane crash.

I'll sing and say what I want too without fear nor favour !!

They’ve been trying to eradicate it for over 30 years . There were arguments between blues about it on MCIVTA late 90’s early 2000’s. It still gets an airing today but by very few

Like everything else in life, the moment you start telling people not to do something, you can guarantee that they will.

Far easier to just replace the Zabaleta song with something about a current player.

Munich was a tragedy that all Manchester felt, red, blue and those that didn't care about football. I was a young lad when it happened living in inner city Manchester, not many had televisions in those streets then. We waited on street corners for the paper boy to arrive to read the latest news on the crash. My father and brothers were reds, me the youngest and only blue, my mother wasn't interested. Time sort of stood still whilst we waited for news to come from Germany. All local kids, red and blue, felt the pain that overwhelmed the city. Knowing how it touched Mancunians I could never take part in the chanting about Munich, and have always thought those that did were either ignorant, insensitive and have either forgotten or have no knowledge of the sadness the crash brought to Manchester and it's people. I am as anti red as any blue and am happy as Larry when they lose, but the Munich crash was something that brought together the reds and blues of Manchester and I still feel that connection 67 years later. Well done1894 for speaking up.

I'm not really fussed one way or another. I come from a generation where fans habitually chanted such things at each other and neither side made a deal out of becoming offended by any of it, simply gave some it return and actually generated an atmosphere inside the grounds. Same as I had no issues with the rags chanting about Fodens mum yet many blues were appaleptic with rage over it.
How we could object to songs about fodens mum after what we used to chant about Beckhams wife and kids is ridiculous.
