Shelia was a left sided defender who played on the left side of a back three, I think, when we arrived in 1997/8 and were lumbered with Frank Clark's wing back system. He got a bad injury, IIRC, before the end of that season and missed pre-season. He played the odd game in the Division Two year (was living abroad and so don't remember), but as I remember, reports suggested that he didn't look the same player following the injury.
Tskhadadze was a tall centre back who was nicknamed 'Kind of the Air' in Georgia. He arrived the same season but was dropped after Joe Royle took over, and there was a lot of talk that Royle wanted rid. But Tskhadadze won his place back in pre-season and scored in the first two games of the new season before injuring his cruciate at Fulham in that awful August Friday night game. We never saw him again.
I think we paid them both off at the end of the 1998/9 season and they went back to play in Russia.
