Numerous posters do not include the name of the artist and song. It's only a problem when copyright differences between where I live (USA) and where other thread participants live, occasionally - but very rarely - makes the video unviewable. Come to think of it - this sort of problem has occurred - it seems - for several months. Maybe it's been mostly sorted out?

I think your request is almost always unnecessary, and..., given the other shenanigans going on in this thread which I've complained about at nauseum... well, it's mostly a do whatever you please thread.

The only real impediment for not separately posting the musician's name and title of their song is when copyright prevents you (or me) from seeing the post at all (if some aspect of the musician/song title/album is missing, click on the post!). And lately this hasn't happened to me (at least) in several months.

IMO failing to post the name of the song and artist is at most a minor inconvenience (at most) and given the complete lack of rules for this thread, I'm inclined not to do this. Sorry.

I made a polite request, you've chosen not to agree to it. Fair enough. That’s your choice. I'll keep that in mind for future dealings.

You've made the patently false claim that you "make the same polite request" to other posters "when I spot them." Bullshit.

Had you not engaged in lying, perhaps I'd be more inclined to indulge you.

That said - I've argued that this thread needs a ruleset and one or more moderators to enforce the rules. Should this come to pass and should one of the rules be that you must separately post the musician's name and song title prior to linking the video, I'd happily comply.

Plus, whenever someone has posted that copyright makes my posts essentially invisible, I've supplied the artist and song title name.

I said "I'll make" (future tense). In your particular case, the issue was raised by another poster by pm. When an issue is raised, either via an official report or by a pm, we try to look into the case. I wouldn't have bothered otherwise. Anyway; I'm not going to labour the point. We could argue all day, and not agree. And end up getting nowhere. Enjoy your day.
