The one to be obeyed has changed her phone. She had an iphone 3gs and now has an iphone 4s...how does she go about transfering her music ? Also can it be done from any computer that has itunes on it or does it have to be the one that she first set up the account on ?

Keep it nice and simple.....Im still getting to grips with centimetre thingys.....

1.Backup Old phone to iTunes. 2.Activate new phone on same computer. Restore from old phones backup. Everything copies over.

Is this any good? It's got a fair few views.

The music must have got on her current iPhone from a computer at some point so if you plug the new iPhone in to the same computer it should automatically replicate what was on the old one! If all the music has been downloaded from iTunes the same should apply, just plug the new phone in and follow the instructions.
This is bollocks, won't work. What you need to do is take the back off both of them, take the battery out and underneath you'll find the tape that all the songs are recorded on. Just take the tape out of the old one and put it in the new one.

Simples.
Do this but be quick otherwise it explodes within 10 seconds.

Is the music that is on the 3GS on a computer in your iTunes library? If the answer is yes update the iTunes software on the computer to the latest version, then plug the new iPhone 4 into the same computer and follow the instructions

If you do not have the original itunes library on a computer you may have problems as you can't send music from the phone to the computer it only goes from computer to phone, there will be software out there but it won't be from apple and you may end up paying for it
