Hi everyone.
Bit of a long shot, but our neighbour has recently lost her husband and is looking to sell his music collection and various media players.
He had over 4000 albums but quite a few bootleg Dylan.
Also on 7 inch reel to reel all the top 20s then progressing to the top 40s recordings for approaching 50 years.
Also pristine magazine collections.
Any ideas how she could get good advice on what to do?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
What are the magazines ?

Mix up. One of the collections is vinyl Albums called the history of rock which is 40 albums from roughly the early 80s.
The magazines are blues ones for which there are 90 plus 2 Christmas ones. She is out at the moment but will find out the proper name.
Each magazine has a cd.

Those reel to reels would probably get a decent price on eBay
Have had a look at ebay for one of the reel to reel machines he had and the reels alone are daft money. It is a Tandberg TD 20A (also has a broken one for spares or repair). She says there are loads of reels for them. The one with the top 20s is older. Thought that might go as a collection for the length of years he recorded the music.

Don't sell to a dealer/shop owner. Did she get an idea of value from hubby before he passed?

A good place to check the price of music on various formats is discogs
