Hi Bluemooners.

I can't seem to find anything online that compares the different apps you can have for your music streaming needs. In particular for the amount of songs you can actually add to your playlist.

I use Deezer at the moment, it's library is good and its very easy to use but they seem to have a maximum 1000 song limit for your playlist. I've got two playlists with 1 having the maximum 1000 songs and the other is close to the limit but I want both playlists merged into one so I need a streaming app that has a bigger limit that the 1000 songs that Deezer offers.

Does anyone use another streaming app that allows more than 1000 songs? Preferably unlimited?

Cheers.

I don't pay for any... i use Mixcloud and Streamcloud which deliver unlimited free music to my phone and laptop (once you organise the settings with Mixcloud and choose what you want from Streamcloud)...

Download 'AC Market'
Then download Spotify, it's been modded so you can skip tracks, no ads, and most stuff you only get with a paid for service.

Ok that’s great. Can you have a playlist that consists of more than 1000 songs with Spotify?

I believe the limit is 10,000.

I have tried Amazon, Deezer and Spotify without the perks of a paid subscription. Personally, I believe it’s worth the added cost but I guess it depends on your needs.

I use tidal. £20 per month but all music is streamed in cd quality sound and increasing numbers of album in studio master quality. I haven’t ever tried to construct a playlist of that size but don’t know of any limit. The library is extremely comprehensive.

Why limit yourself to playlists? All the music streaming services have 'radio' functions that can play forever, and introduce you to tracks or artists you may not have heard before.

Id be lost without Spotify,I've also discovered so much new music through it and I particularly like the way it lists when they are playing live.
